As part of Sakarya University’s ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency across its campus, approximately 85% of the lighting fixtures have been upgraded to energy-efficient LED systems, significantly reducing energy consumption. In alignment with the goal of creating smarter and greener buildings, around 80% of the university’s facilities are now designed to maximize the use of natural daylight. Furthermore, 85% of the buildings are equipped with energy management centers and dedicated personnel responsible for monitoring and controlling energy usage effectively.
